<direction>
An 8-second square quote film, 1080x1080 square. The quote MAKE IT SIMPLE. MAKE IT CLEAR. MAKE IT MOVE. is set in three stacked lines; each line slams in on its own beat and stays, so the stack builds top to bottom. The final word is accented. A short accent rule (300px, not full width) draws under the stack, then the attribution — THE HOUSE RULE, WRITTEN FOR THIS FILM — fades in small caps.
Banned: real quotations attributed to real people, script/calligraphy fonts, glows, gradients, parchment textures, quotation-mark ornaments larger than the type.
</direction>
<structure>
Beats 1–3 (0.6 / 1.9 / 3.2s): quote lines slam and stack. Beat 4 (4.7s): rule scaleX draws. Beat 5 (5.4s): attribution fades. Hold to 8s.
</structure>
<build>
One HyperFrames composition, seek-driven GSAP. The rule is a fixed-width div animated with scaleX and transform-origin left.
</build>
<gotchas>
Do NOT animate the CSS width property for bars in this pipeline: our first rule rendered at ~968px from frame one (verified by pixel scan) despite starting at 0 in CSS. Fixed-width element + scaleX is the reliable pattern — the same scan then showed the rule absent at 1.0s and exactly 300px at 6.6s.
</gotchas>
Before you finish: step through the timeline at five points and fix anything that overlaps, clips the frame, or drifts off the beat grid.
A square quote film: the three beats of the quote land one at a time and stack, an accent rule draws under the stack, and the attribution fades in. The quote is an original house rule written for this film — no borrowed lines.

What broke (and the fix)
- The accent rule under the quote was visible at full width from the first second, long before its cue: animating the CSS width property mis-rendered in this seek-driven pipeline (pixel measurement showed it at ~968px wide at t=1.0 despite a 0px start in CSS). Rebuilt it the way every other bar on this site works — fixed 300px width, scaleX from 0 — and verified by pixel scan: absent at 1.0s, exactly 300px at 6.6s.
