Prompt

Banned list ✓Beat grid ✓Build method ✓Self-review ✓
<direction> An 8-second news intro, 1280x720 landscape, built as ONE self-contained HTML file (no build step — the file is the project). A wireframe globe (circle, ellipse, latitude paths) draws itself stroke by stroke. CHANNEL 7 slides in beside it; THE NIGHTLY REPORT staggers in per character. A dateline fades, then the news bar builds: an orange LIVE chip, a headline wiping in, an anchor credit. A bottom ticker scrolls fictional headlines on a linear loop. Banned: real channel names, logos, or real headlines; glows; gradients; world-map dot matrices; swoosh sound-wave clichés drawn as graphics. </direction> <structure> Beat 1 (0.25–1.9s): globe strokes draw staggered. Beat 2 (0.8s): channel wordmark. Beat 3 (1.4s): show title per-character. Beat 4 (2.3s): dateline. Beat 5 (2.7–4.1s): bar, LIVE chip, headline wipe, anchor line. Beat 6 (4.4s): ticker fades in and scrolls to the end. Hold. </structure> <build> Single-file HTML + GSAP (seek-driven), rendered through HyperFrames. SVG strokes use getTotalLength dash draws. The ticker content is duplicated once and translated by exactly one copy width for a seamless loop. </build> <gotchas> The contact sheet's JPEG compression made the ticker seam look garbled; a full-resolution crop of the same frame showed perfectly clean text. Verify at full res before 'fixing' compression ghosts. </gotchas> Before you finish: step through the timeline at five points and fix anything that overlaps, clips the frame, or drifts off the beat grid.

A news open in a single HTML file: a wireframe globe draws itself, the channel wordmark lands, the show title staggers in letter by letter, and a LIVE lower-third bar with headline, anchor line, and a scrolling ticker completes the broadcast look. Fictional channel, fictional headlines.

Run log

What broke (and the fix)

  • Nothing broke. Check passed first time. The contact sheet made the scrolling ticker look garbled at its repeat seam, but a full-resolution crop of the same frame shows the text perfectly clean — sheet compression, not a composition defect. We checked before changing anything.
